ArcLight is a Mac app that turns slides into live video. Every scene is a slide that can hold live cameras, screen and window captures, images, video, titles and shapes. Press Play and use the arrow keys to move through the show with Keynote-style transitions such as Magic Move.

Yes. ArcLight installs a virtual camera. Choose “ArcLight Camera” in Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex or any app that accepts a camera, and your program output appears there.

For Mac users who present, teach or host shows — yes. It covers the core of OBS (cameras, screens, scenes, transitions, recording, a virtual camera), arranged like a slide deck, with Magic Move, a presenter view and a teleprompter built in. OBS is still the better pick if you need plugins, or Windows and Linux.

Yes. Go Live streams the program over RTMP to YouTube, Twitch, LinkedIn or any custom RTMP server — which also covers TikTok, Facebook, Kick, X, Restream and StreamYard. You can still go live through any app that accepts a camera, or record a .mov.

Yes. Import a Keynote file or a PDF and each slide becomes a scene, with presenter notes kept. PowerPoint decks come in through PDF export.

Yes. The teleprompter docks under your Mac's notch (or floats, or goes full screen and mirrored for a beam splitter). It scrolls at a steady pace or follows your voice with on-device speech recognition, and cues in the script take slides live as you reach them.

ArcLight is free to try for 30 days with every feature. After that it's $49 a year — the launch price, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. Updates to ArcLight 1 are free.

Yes. ArcLight includes an MCP server, so Claude Code or any MCP client can create and edit slides, write the script, restyle titles, take slides live and look at the program output. Agent access is off until you turn it on in Settings, connects only on your Mac, and every agent change is outlined on the canvas, named in Undo and can be reverted.
